A wood shoe organizer is perfect for people who like a more rustic look in their homes. They are perfect for those of you that are tired of fancy materials like metal and plastic and wanted to bring things back to basics. I can understand this as that is exactly how I am as well. I don't care too much for the ones that hang from the ceiling to the floor, nor do I like those fancy wire mesh racks that you see everywhere these days. Now, if you're just looking for an underbid model that I don't suggest you spend a lot of money because no one will ever see it. In fact, it is the case I highly suggest you get a cheap plastic one. It will do exactly what you need to and you won't spend a lot of money at all. However, most people that want a wooden model are not going for underneath their better to be throwing some closet somewhere. No, they're looking for something that they can show off to their friends and family. They're looking for nice slanted or vertical or freestanding type made by companies like Woodlore, Closetmaid, or Komplement.
